The original core of the building, originally an oil mill, dating back to 1600. Expanded, "LA COLOMBAIA"it became a large country house farm that had a dozen farms. It derives the name attributed to topographic maps of the time .At the end of 1800 it was bought by Stefano Chimenti, Mayor of Bucine, married to Gemma Bambi, Florentine noblewoman. Fully restored, as closely as possible footprint on the descending Margherita Chimenti, was subsequently used in all its parts for residential purposes by the nephew who still lives there and that has changed it's name.
