We are a group of 11 from Victoria, Australia who have enjoyed a fabulous week at Villa Catola in Tuscany and have been made very welcome by Fabio and his family. The villa is spacious, well equipped, comfortable and perfectly situated  for a visit to Tuscany. The villa is situated centrally in Bucine with lots of amenities within 2-5 minutes walk, including the train station (to Florence and Arezzo) supermarket, cafes and bars. We were given a special tour of the immediate area and his family farm, where we indulged in some home-made wine, followed by a traditional Italian home cooked meal by his wife at the villa.  As a large group we had 2 vehicles but also made use of Fabio’s van for a delightful day touring with him to the Chianti Classico area and wine tasting at a spectacular vineyard. We would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit and experience Tuscany.

4/10/12. We have booked a week in Tuscany as part of one 6 week holidays of UK & Europe.Our stay at Villa Catola has been fantastic and would rate as one of the best  venues   for a holiday we have been to . the villa so much atmosphere , close to all services and and everything is clean and serviceable. It is close to shops ,supermarket , train station etc. Fabio is an wonderful host . He speaks good English ( goo for us ) and took us on tours of district and local farms to see haw local life is..                                                                           I would recommend staying to anyone . Just try to stay  at last 4/5 days as you wi.. need that long to appreciate the district.

Hallo allemaal,
groetjes uit Bucine. Het was een heel leuke vakantie en Fabio zorgt ervoor dat alles tiptop in orde is.
Zeker een aanrader voor groepen!

We were a party of 18 family members. It was love at first sight from the minute we walked through the front door of Villa Catola, a little slice of genuine Tuscany. The owner Fabio was a fantastic host where nothing was too much trouble. We were taught how to cook  pizza in a traditional pizza oven in the garden which the whole party enjoyed. Fabio even cooked a fabulous meal for us as one of our party was 21 during our stay, served under the stars in the garden – a memory that will last forever. The villa is in a fantastic position for sight-seeing in Florence and Arezzo (an easy train ride directly from Bucine) as well as the glorious town of Siena, an absolute “must do”. Villa Catola is truly unique and a wonderful place to enjoy the Tuscan experience.

Vietimme ikimuistoisen viikon upeassa Villa Catolassa keskella kauneinta Toscanaa. Isantamme Fabio huolehti koko porukastamme. Nautimme matkalla kauniista saasta, hyvasta ruoasta, viinista, ostoksista seka kulttuurista. Villa Catola oli taydellinen majapaikka seka rentoutumiseen, etta Toscanaan tutustumiseen. Bucinen kyla missa huvila sijaitsee on pieni, viehattava ja rauhallinen kyla jossa on kaikki peruspalvelut ja hyvat yhteydet. Tulemme tanne varmasti viela uudelleen!
